SOS! Help Needed! Rogue was returned to GPPR and is currently in boarding. He needs a foster or forever home!
Rogue is the sweetest boy. He adores cuddling on the couch or in bed with his humans.
- Good with most dogs. The exception is dominant males. He also plays rough, so take that into consideration.
- Great with cats, especially if they will snuggle with him.
- Has not been around children.
- Warms up right away with women, needs a slower introduction with men.
Rogue had a tough beginning to life and was found as a super skinny stray in the fall of 2023. He enjoys a good bone, toy, or ball to play with and will even entertain himself throwing toys in the air and running after them.
Behavior:
Rogue is under-socialized and came to rescue with no training. He will reluctantly go in his kennel but can be vocal and has some anxiety about being left alone. It takes him a bit, but he eventually settles in. He needs a patient and understanding home who is willing to work on basic training. Rogue responds well to positive reinforcement, a harsh "no" scares him. He is super smart and trains well. He'd be a great addition to any active family with some training experience.
