Ruger is not for the beginner GSP owner. He has good lines in him and needs to have a home where he can do what he loves, hunting. He is your typical GSP by nature and wants to be with people. He would be ideal for a family who includes their dog in activities and keep his energy levels well balanced. He listens and has training, but needs the right master who knows GSP's. He does fine with dogs, cats, and children. He is house and crate trained. He has been out hunting and does very well! He is also AKC registered.
