I am a 6 month old GSP who just got neutered and who is looking for my forever family.

Currently at my foster home, I was bell trained in one day to let them know I needed to go outside. I am house trained and learning this was much better than running and jumping at the door! While training, I learned that I love all treats. I am a little underweight but they are working on that and I am getting 4 cups of food a day and seem to be filling out nicely. Feeding me separate from other pets is important until I learn to be more comfortable, as I worry my food is going to be taken away or others may eat it before me, so I forget to eat.

I get along well with other dogs and people regardless of age. I can be very vocal when people come into the house as I may not know you just yet, when I really want attention or when I want to play! I love toys, especially ones with squeakers, but those toys should be durable since I will chew and play with them until the squeakers come out. I am a huge cuddle but and will make myself right at home on the couch or bed, where I sleep all night.

We are currently working on kennel training, but I am not sure about that yet and will let you know by barking. I can be very hesitant to go into my kennel and would prefer to be left out. I am very fast and will jump fences if given the chance, so I need to be leashed or on a long tie out until you can trust me in the yard.

My foster family says that I have huge potential for many great things. I love all things feathered and will point at them outside all the time. I also like water but haven't had much time to really take a swim just yet.
