Scout is a gorgeous all liver guy and he is a quick learner. He has spent his first 10-11 months in an outdoor kennel only. He is very cautious with every new situation but with time he is more comfortable. 

The biggest thing with Scout is every situation is a new one, and he will react nervously, and then become more comfortable with it. 

He is quickly becoming more comfortable inside, and learning the environment of a normal household. 

 He is working on being house trained, so far he has mastered not having accidents in his kennel, he does go when taken out outside and has started standing by the door to go out. 

He wasn’t fond of his bath at first and then enjoyed the water when he was able to relax.

He is getting more comfortable in the car, he does well when others are in the car but he was nervous when it was just him and the driver. This was new, so he will keep practicing and become more comfortable. 

 He is quiet in his kennel at night, and learning it is a safe place. He is still working on relaxing in his kennel if there is commotion in the house. 

He is just starting to learn his training and commands and he already has learned sit. He will be adding; drop,, come, wait, not yours/leave it, down and heel.

He is learning to trust the resident dogs and become more comfortable. 

He may be good with the right bigger confident cat, no kittens for this guy as he sees them as prey. 

Scout will keep adding experiences to his resume to further his understanding of how the world works.

He is making fast progress and is a very smart boy who will make any experienced/active owner very happy. 

Scout is a very affectionate guy, he puts the coined term ‘velcro’ dog to shame. He feels most comfortable with people and leans on them for support and encouragement. His favorite place is as close to his people as he can get. 

(His hardest command to learn will undoubtedly be "down")

Scout is a typical pointer who loves fur, or fuzzy anything but will only carry them around in his mouth and not chew them up! The human kids absolutely adore that he picks up a toy and parades around with it in his mouth, even taking it out to potty and bringing it back in. 

Scout is still learning, think sweet puppy who has a lot to learn in a dog sized body, he is a busy boy. He will undoubtedly make a committed, experienced and patient owner very happy.
