Mr. Finn is not only tall, dark and handsome but he is a gentleman as well!  He has good manners, is confident and obeys well. He is house trained, knows basic commands and is crate trained. He is very friendly, treats the resident dogs with respect and is good at sharing toys.

So far we’ve observed that he enjoys watching nature out the window (chasing if outdoors), loves toys, chew bones, playing fetch and frisbee, playing with other dogs, playing outdoors,  and cuddling with his human companions.  He does have a dog bed and is content to use it verses the furniture as long as he gets a little love before he settles in.  He is quite the “talker” (whimpers, whines and moans) but this is diminishing as he becomes accustomed to his new routines. He does tend to pull on the leash so we will be working on that.

Finn is a two year old GSP with moderate exercise needs. He is very gentle, but a large boy and doesn’t always recognize his size so may not be the best fit for small children.  He listens well to basic commands, likes to play and run, and gets along well with other dogs and kids. He has never been the only dog in the house, so his forever family should also have a canine companion.  Finn is new to GPPR so we are still learning more about him; he is being fostered in MN.
