Great Plains Pointer Rescue

Hi! My name is Poppy. I was born in November 2017 on a farm. I was one of two puppies who survived. I lived in a barn with my mom and sister, until I came to GPPR and my foster home! I love living in a house. I get along with the two other pointers and the chihuahua, too! Although I am young, I am content to lay around and cuddle. I do get bursts of energy at times, but mostly, I just want attention.

 

I love the kids at my foster home, but they are all over five and are used to young dogs who might jump up or run into them. Since this house life is still new to me, I am working on potty training, basic obedience, and manners. My foster mom says I am the sweetest, cutest girl ever! Please let me know if you want to meet me.

 

She does have some more vetting to complete before she will be able to go home.
