My name is Finn and I am a young English Pointer. I have lots of energy and love to go on runs and play in the yard. My foster mom says I have one speed and that is full throttle! In the house I am calm though and have good house manners.

I am a total goofball and will keep my forever family laughing. I will need some training/reinforcement with basic commands but I am very eager to please so it should not take me long to catch on. My foster family is beginning to work with me on this. They are also working on this thing called leash walking ... it does not allow me to go full throttle so I’m struggling with this a little bit at the moment.

I will do best with a family that is as active as I am, I will need to release energy on a daily basis, or I may not be so calm in the house

I have displayed prey drive in my foster home, I love to slow stalk birds and squirrels in the yard. The duck hunters like to shoot around my foster home, and I haven’t reacted to the gunshots at all but nobody has shot directly over me yet.

I love to curl up on the couch next to my foster family, I sleep in my crate at night. I do great playing with other dogs and surprise, surprise, I even like cats!
