Hi! I'm Missy! I came all the way from Texas to my new foster home. So far, my favorites are napping, cuddling, playing with toys, and getting treats for being soooooo cute! I don't know many commands yet, but I'm a quick learner. I've learned 'sit' and I'm going to work on 'stay', 'lay down' and 'off' soon. I'm very sweet and so far like everyone I meet. When I first meet a new dog, I can be a little standoffish and growl, but it's just to tell the new dog that I need my space. I'm kind of sneaky and have learned that if I'm quick, I can steal toys away from my foster sister. We get along fine now and I have lived with other dogs as well. I am house trained and kennel trained. I sleep in my kennel at night and never make a peep. I am a bit of a counter surfer and definitely would like to eat off your plate, but I'm learning to keep my distance and keep my paws off the counter. I sometimes get really excited when you give me treats and grab them a little too quickly, but I'm learning. I had heart worm before coming to my new foster home, but I am now heart worm free! I'm really cute and sweet and would make anyone a good couch companion. I'm about four years old and am a lower energy dog. She is located in Des Moines IA.
